HSSE Officer
Requirements:
- Preferably residing in Belait district
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Must have NEBOSH certificate
- Excellent English communication and written skills
- Able to work both independently and in a team
Job Description:
- Conduct risk assessment and ensure compliance with HSSE policies and regulations
- Manage HSSE requirements for contractors, suppliers, and visitors and conduct safety inductions
- Communicate with government authorities and regulators on HSSE issues
- Perform site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Monitor PPE usage and workplace hygiene standards
- Ensure safety controls are included in design and construction work
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents; document findings and improvements
- Develop emergency procedures and organize fire drills
- Coordinate safety training with trainers and providers
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety talks
- Check employee health conditions and fitness for work
- Keep organized records of all HSSE documents and reports
- Help improve HSSE systems and procedures
- Provide reports for any HSSE updates to project management team
- Familiar with IOGP Assessment and HAZID / HAZOP ProceduresS
